Alcachofo, organic wine D.O. Alicante
Alicante offers a unique terroir, with its Mediterranean climate, mild winters and warm summers, providing perfect conditions for growing grapes. The chalky soils, poor in organic matter, force the vines to work harder, resulting in grapes of exceptional concentration and quality. This translates into wines with personality, combining aromatic intensity and a perfect balance between acidity and body.

Wines of Alicante
The Monastrell grape, cultivated for centuries in the region, gives rise to robust wines, with notes of ripe fruit, spices and mineral touches that faithfully reflect the land from which they come. Moreover, Alicante not only preserves its tradition, but also innovates with modern techniques, achieving wines that stand out for their classic character as well as their freshness and contemporary elegance. Each bottle of wine is the result of generations of work, love for the land and a constant commitment to quality. This dedication translates into international recognition, positioning Alicante red wine as a national emblem.

Master assembly
Alcachofo has an outstanding aromatic intensity, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, complemented by a spicy touch of black pepper and light herbaceous notes. The Monastrell grape variety provides a robust structure and a fruity character, while the Petit Verdot adds complexity with its floral nuances and a subtle vanilla background. On the palate, it is balanced, with firm but rounded tannins and a fresh nuance that adds liveliness. The finish is long, with hints of black fruits, redcurrants and a slight smoky aftertaste. A pleasant wine to drink and excellent for pairing with food.

The Artichoke
The artichoke, a jewel of gastronomy and nutrition. This vegetable, native to the Mediterranean, is rich in fibre, which aids digestion and helps maintain a healthy gastrointestinal system. But that's not all: artichoke contains cynarin, a compound that stimulates bile production, helping to break down fats and facilitating the digestion of heavy foods. It is also a powerful source of antioxidants, such as quercetin and rutin, which fight oxidative stress and protect our cells.
The Wine
Red wine is known for its polyphenol content, such as resveratrol, which has anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective properties. Studies have shown that moderate consumption of red wine can improve cardiovascular health, increase HDL (‘good’) cholesterol and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. In addition, red wine contains tannins, which not only add structure and complexity to the wine, but also have astringent properties that can help cleanse the palate.
